May 2021 Special Issue on Women’s Studies
We are planning to publish the May 2021 issue of our folklore/literature journal as a special issue on “Women’s Studies”.
The special issue to be prepared in collaboration with the journal administration and the Center for Women and Gender Studies of our
university, will host empirical and review studies designed from a women’s studies perspective in a variety of fields including but not
limited to folklore, literature, sociology, psychology, anthropology, and history. The special issue aims to discuss current topics
regarding gender; and contribute to policymaking for feminist productivity and creativity by concentrating on the findings of
scientific studies examining feminist artistic creativity, resistance, critical artistic production and opposition to heteropatriarchy.
The manuscripts should be limited to 40,000 characters and prepared in accordance with the overall publication rules and principles of
folklore/literature. All papers will undergo double blind review. Accepted papers in Turkish will be required to submit an extended
summary of 750-1000 words in English. Accepted papers in Turkish and English will be included in the special issue with the condition of having a 20% similarity report and will be indexed with DOI registration in respected indexes led by Dergipark, SCOPUS and DOAJ.
