Özet
Edebiyatta yazar, okur ve kahraman ilişkisi, sosyal yaşamdaki “ben” ve “öteki” ilişkisinin sadece göstereni değil aynı zamanda kurucu bir bileşenidir. Bu çalışmada yazarın, okurun ve kahramanın niyeti, edebiyat teorisi yanı sıra bir sosyal ontoloji yorumunda ele alınmaktadır. Bu, sosyal ilişkileri edebi ilkelerle düşünmekle sınırlı olmayan bir çabadır. Sanat, bilim, felsefe ve yaşam arasında edebiyat yoluyla kurulan bağıntıyı düşünmek çabasıdır. Umberto Eco, yazarın ve okurun niyetinin fazlaca önemseniyor oluşuna, aşırı yorum şeklinde yaklaşmakta ve buna karşı metnin niyetinin önemini vurgulamaktadır. Bu anlamda metin-dışı konuşma ve yorum biçimleri metne sadık kalmalıdır. Ancak edebiyatın edebi dil dışı ögeleri hesaba katıldığında, Bahtin’in diyaloji kavramı ve buna bağlı sosyal ontolojisi son derece önemlidir. Bahtin’in “sorumluluk”, “çokdillilik”, “katılımcı düşünce” anlayışı; diyalojiyi, edebiyat-dışı sosyal gerçekliğin etik ve hukuki çerçevesi olarak düşünmeyi olanaklı kılar.

Abstract
The author, reader and hero relationship in literature is not only a signifer but also a constitutive element of the relationship between “I” and the “other” in social life. In this study, the intention of the author, reader and the hero is discussed through an interpretation regarding social ontology and literary theory. This effort is not limited to the thinking on social relations by means of literary principles. It is an effort of thinking on the link between the literature, art, science, philosophy and life. Umberto Eco criticizes the stress on the intentions of writer and reader by calling that kind of a relation as overinterpretation. Instead he expresses the importance of the intention of the text. In this sense, the forms of nontextual speaking and interpretation must remain loyal to the context
