Özet
Uygurlar, Türk ve dünya tarihi için çok önemli bir uygarl›kt›r. Günümüze ulaflan belgeler ve çeflitli bulgular, gün ›fl›¤›na ç›kar›lan ve ç›kar›lmay› bekleyen pek çok özelli¤i Uygurlar› eflsiz bir yere koymaktad›r. Yerleflik yaflama geçerek gerçeklefltirdikleri ilerlemeler, farkl› dinlerin kültürel girdileri, pek çok dil bilen, çeviriler yapan bilginler, de¤iflik alfabelerle yaz›lm›fl binlerce eser, kütüphaneler, matbaa, hukuk, ticaret, ipekler, dokumalar, saraylar, alt›n, gümüfl, bak›r, demir ustal›klar›, dünyan›n en önemli tarihi harikalar›ndan biri olan kar›zlar, tap›naklar›n, mabetlerin duvarlar›ndaki eflsiz resimler, heykeller ve Uygurlar›n yaflam›nda vazgeçilmez yeri olan müzik… Bu çal›flmada Uygurlar›n kültürel zenginlikleri incelenmifltir. Çeflitli alanlardaki geliflimlerine dikkat çekilen Uygurlar›n müzik kültürü detayl› olarak ele al›nm›flt›r. Ayr›ca bu araflt›rmada ilk kez ‘Uygur Göç Destan›’ müzikal ö¤eler içermesi bak›m›ndan incelenmifl; destanda bulunan ö¤eler içinde yer alan müzi¤in, ad›n›n geçti¤i di¤er unsurlarla birlikte ne kadar önemli ve kutsal bir yere kondu¤u tespit edilerek, vurgulanm›flt›r

Abstract
The Uyghurs are a very significant civilisation for the Turkish and world history. The documents and the various findings that come until today, many several features explored and waiting to be explored are placing the Uyghurs in a unique position. The progresses they have realized by switching to permanent settlement, cultural inputs of different religions, the savants who spoke many languages, made translations, thousands of works written in various alphabets, libraries, printing house, law, commerce, silks, textiles, palaces, gold, silver, copper, iron articrafts, the kar›zes which are one of the most significant wonders of the world, the unique pictures, statues on the walls of temples, shrines and music occupying an indispensable place in the lives of the Uyghurs … In this study the cultural wealth of the Uyghurs have been examined. The music culture of the Uyghurs whose developments in various different fields have been accentuated, has been handled in detail. Moreover, in this research, the “Uyghur Exodus Epic” has been examined regarding the musical elements it covers, it has been determined that music had taken place in the significant symbols present in the epic therefore, it has been determined and accentuated that music had been placed in a very important and sacred position nearby the other elements where it is mentioned.
