Özet
Bu makalede Batılılaşma sürecinde geleneksel kadın giyiminde kullanılan kesim
tekniğinin Batı modalarının etkisi ile uğradığı değişim ele alınmaktadır. Makalede geometrik
kesimden, “kup”lu kesim tekniğine geçerken geliştirilen bazı uygulamaların hibrit bir sonuç
doğurduğuna değinilerek, giysilerin biçim değiştirmesinde bir geçiş dönemi yaşandığı
üzerinde durulacaktır.

Abstract
This article will describe conventional and modern cutting techniques on woman wear.
Conventional geometric cutting techniques and “coupe” cutting techniques will be compared.
Conventional geometric cutting techniques, suffered by the change in effect with the
West fashions, will be discussed. As a result of this, change will be discussed that has led
to a hybrid result of some applications developed. We will focus on the format change of
garments that are experiencing a transition period.
